Question:

Completion reports

(Last edited: Monday, 12 August 2019, 10:45 AM)
Answer:

There is no need to ask MLC to send you completion reports since those that are entitled to view completion reports (course teachers, compliance officers, HR, etc.) have access to such a report in the course in question.

If you have the permissions, use the course completion block on the right hand side of the course page to access the report by clicking the 'view course report' link.

Those whom may not have the necessary permissions should contact the regional training administrator their region. The training administrator will provide you with the report after considering the request in line with the the MLC and global privacy policies: notably that of your having a legitimate interest in the information.

Question:

Compliance courses and staff enrolment

(Last edited: Friday, 23 August 2019, 3:22 PM)
Answer:

Courses set up for a specific audience may use the cohort-sync method to enroll users into courses.

For example, many of these courses are setup for MiX employees and a user needs to be a member of the cohort (usually there is a regional, cohort for a specific user type, like "staff from Africa") before they will be automatically enrolled the course.

Most of the compliance courses use this method. Contact your regional HR administrator or training department if you are eager to start learning and you aren't in your region's cohort yet.

Question:

Enrolling into a course

(Last edited: Tuesday, 3 September 2019, 10:41 AM)
Answer:
Many of our courses, if not most, are self-enrollment with open access. This means that once an MLC user is logged in they can enroll themselves in to a course, provided that your profile is accurate. Simply search for the course you wish to enroll for, click the course title and then click the 'enroll' button. Lookout for this icon for Open Access Self-Enrollment courses: Self enrollment
Question:

Finding help or enrollment information

(Last edited: Monday, 12 August 2019, 9:42 AM)
Answer:

If your query is related to a course you're enrolled in, your first port of call is the a course teacher or facilitator. Your can find your course's teacher in the people block of your course or, once you've logged in to MLC, search for the course you have a query about for and click facilitator's name in the course listing to send them a message.

You could also reach out to your channel partner or log a service request with your regional help-desk.

If you're a MiX employee contact your regional HR or training department.

Question:

Forgot password

(Last edited: Wednesday, 30 October 2019, 11:13 AM)
Answer:
English

Don't fret, this happens to the best of us and is easily resolved yourself using the forgot password tool.

DO NOT create a new profile if you have forgotten your credentials, please. Creating a duplicate profile causes endless trouble: your course credits from one account CANNOT be merged into a new account.

Using the forgot password tool you can have your username and a new password generated and sent to the e-mail you used to sign up. If your email address has changed you can contact technical support to have it changed (we'll need to do some security checks before the change is applied).

Only complete one of the fields in the forgot password tool: i.e. either username OR email.
